Thank you for downloading Co-Star Personalized Astrology Daily Horoscope. Co-Star uses NASA data points and an AI algorithm to create your daily readouts. With this app, you will learn how to read your astrology chart and navigate the stars to understand your astrological forecast better. With Co-Star, you will learn which signs you are compatible with and which signs you should avoid. You will also learn about your moon signs and how they will affect your daily life.

## 2. Product Overview

The Co-Star mobile app is supported on both Android and iOS devices. This app helps beginner and intermediate users understand the full details of their astrological chart and better analyze their lives.

Co-Star helps you make friends and find better compatibility with anyone you meet. With your daily readings, you will also be better prepared to find a special relationship. Use this guide to assist you in getting a better overview of the app and learn more about the power of astrology.

Once the user creates a username and password, followed by their birth information, the user will have access to the app’s main features, including:

- Seeing a personalized daily horoscope reading
- A detailed personalized astrology chart
- Connecting with friends to view compatibility with other users

## 3. Feature Descriptions

### 3.1 Astrological Signs Chart

The Co-Star app uses NASA data to personalize the user’s astrological chart based on the time, date, and place of birth. The chart generates the user’s unique chart with star signs and planets to describe their personalities and moods. While users read their chart descriptions, the app also shares compatibility with friends, allowing users to see whether their friends are experiencing similar placements.

### 3.2 Daily Updates

Co-Star uses NASA data to create natal charts for users to see the influences on their daily life. This feature updates day-to-day based on star alignments to give users the most accurate results. The app also uses advanced AI that learns from the user’s data to create a personally tailored experience based on the user’s astrological life and interests.

### 3.3 Connecting with Friends

Co-Star allows users to connect with friends astrologically by sharing charts to see how compatible they are. This feature will help users understand their friends more deeply and build closer relationships through astrology.

## 4. Instructions

Installing the Co-Star app requires access to a data network or a wifi connection, with additional features available for in-app purchase. Download from the App Store or Google Play.

### 4.1 Sign Up

1. Open the Co-Star app.
2. Create an account using an Apple account, Facebook, Gmail, or another option.
3. Create a username and a profile name.
4. Enter your phone number.
5. Create a password and verify it.
6. Confirm account via email or phone number.
7. Enter birthdate, birth time, and birth place to create a chart.

1. From the homepage, select **CHART**.
2. Locate the **SIGNS** and **HOUSES** chart (see Figure 4.2.2 above).
3. Scroll down to read chart descriptions.
4. Match and compare with friends and other users.

### 4.3 Connect with Friends

1. From the homepage, select **FRIENDS** (Figure 4.3.1).
2. Select **ADD** (Figure 4.3.2).
3. Select **Add from contacts** or **Connect Facebook** (Figure 4.3.3).

   > **Note:** Selecting **Add manually** will initiate a pop-up window that prompts you to make an in-app purchase.

4. Select the friends to add and those you wish to invite.

### 5.1 What do the houses on my chart mean?

Starting with the sign rising in the east when you were born, the sky is divided into 12 sections that symbolize areas of your life.

### 5.2 Is Pluto considered a moon or a planet?

Pluto is considered a planet that represents energy in your astrological chart. Co-Star uses Porphyry, the oldest quadrant-style house division system.

### 5.3 What does my Pressure and Power on my daily calendar mean?

**Power** symbolizes an aspect in your life that you can excel in and have the ability to flourish in. **Pressure** symbolizes an aspect of your life that you struggle with but can recognize and work on.

### 5.4 Where can I find my chart?

Your chart is located on the left side of your home page. It has a red dot next to it and will open to a new page with your astrological chart that will include your signs and houses.

### 5.5 How do I look at my friend’s chart?

Your friend list is located on the right side of your home page. Your friends will be organized alphabetically by username. After you click on a friend’s profile, you will have the option to click on their chart.

### 5.6 Is my information safe with Co-Star?

Yes. Co-Star does not use or have access to any third-party data, including but not limited to your text, your mic, or other trackers. Co-Star does not track your activity or usage, does not sell personal data, and does not plan to in the future.

### 5.7 What is Chaos Mode?

Chaos Mode lets you write something for yourself that you could receive as a push notification one day. After you save the note, you will receive it on a relevant day. This does not affect your regular notifications.

### 5.8 What astrological system is used for the app?

Co-Star uses **Porphyry**, the oldest system of quadrant-style house division (far older than Placidus, but slightly newer than Whole Sign), which uses the ascendant as the 1st house cusp and midheaven as the 10th house cusp.
